Avid Yachts was able to install a new engine, charging system, and battery bank in this cruising sailboat

• meeting a 250AH daily power draw, restorable in less than one hour of main engine running while anchored
• resulting in 50 % less space, and reducing displacement by 750 lbs
• this charging system allows for central HVAC, a full electric galley and a 10 HP electric outboard for the tender, which eliminates the need for a genset, unsafe propane and gasoline stored aboard, as well as the need for stern arches and lifting cranes
